Today Year 1 had a huge surprise!! Santa came to visit the children in the classroom and even brought them special presents. We were extremely excited!!!!
On the 10th December the whole school took part in Christmas Jumper Day. We each donated £1 to help raise money for our chosen charity for the year,FACT. Year 1 loved coming to school in their Christmas jumpers and loved seeing all the different designs!
Today KS1 performed the nativity 'Christmas with the Aliens!' Year 1 sang beautifully and danced really well. It was a fantastic show, well done!! This week Year 1 have been looking at finding 10 more and 10 less than a number. We practiced using number squares and looked at numbers which have tens and units in them. Then we completed a range of activities to help us apply our new skills. We really enjoyed learning to find 10 more and 10 less!! |
